I hold a bachelor's degree in music therapy and am working through my final year of graduate school as a marriage and family therapy student. I am pleased to be interning with Logan Mental Health and Wellness during this last stage of my education. I especially value the collaborative care approach and the opportunity to work together with other professionals in coordinating care.

About Me:

As a budding marriage and family therapist, I strive to maintain a systems-informed perspective, where I look at the variety of systems which influence yourself and/or your relationships. When working with a couple or family, my client is the relationship rather than the individuals involved. This approach avoids placing blame on one person, allowing exploration of ways to improve, enrich, and shape the relationship.

Approaches which inform my work include Person-Centered Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Music Therapy, and the Satir Approach.

In addition to my work with couples and families, I also work with individuals on person-focused goals. In my work with individuals, I often use a combination of CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Approach, Mindfulness, and a Strengths-Based Approach.

I have experience treating issues such as depression, mood disorders, anxiety, chronic health conditions, disabilities and physical limitations, boundaries, self-esteem, and eating disorders.

I strive to create a safe space where my clients feel safe and valued. Together, we will explore possibilities and move toward healing.

I am accepting new clients and offer a 15-minute no charge consultation to assess professional/patient fit before moving further into therapy.
