Larry Jacobson LPC, CMHC

Hi, I'm Larry. I am a licensed LPC and CMHC specializing in areas of marriage and family. My goal is to help my patients discover their best selves and build strong, healthy relationships.

About Me

As a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) my goal is to help my patients discover their best selves and to build strong, healthy relationships. I began my journey as a mental health professional at USU, where I received my BA in Social Work/Psychology. I then pursued my Master's at BYU and finished with a graduate degree in Counseling, as well as post-graduate studies specializing in areas of marriage and family. I have worked in the fields of mental health and counseling ever since, serving as a counselor and administer in several states over the course of my 35 years of experience.

As a therapist, I specialize in marriage and family issues (including blended family, divorce, and adoption), individual mental health struggles such as anxiety and stress management, depression, anger management, post traumatic stress (PTSD), conduct/conflict, senior issues, and death, grief, and bereavement. My therapeutic approaches include Marriage and Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Emotional-Focused Therapy (EFT), NLP or Hypnotherapy, pastoral counseling, and chaplain services. A wide range of services and approaches allow me to offer a diverse array of therapeutic plans to my patients and find a path best suited to them.
