Therapy is an opportunity to mend ourselves from the pains and challenges of the past and to enhance and strengthen ourselves to become more resilient and contented in our lives.
Brad Stokes CMHC
I view my role, as your therapist, as assisting you in your self-determined journey. I understand change is difficult and I offer a non-judgmental approach to working with individuals, couples, and families. I believe in identifying and utilizing strengths while building up areas needing growth.
The main therapeutic approaches I utilize include ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention).
I am a licensed CMHC and I have been practicing for over 5 years as a therapist and 7 years as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. I have supported individuals and couples struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, ADHD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, interpersonal relationship challenges, major life changes, and trauma.
I do believe people can change for the better and I am a strong advocate of informed choice and empowering people to live their best lives. It would be a pleasure to work you; if you are interested please contact our offices to schedule an appointment.
